How we make money, and how we don't.
What we charge
Sellers pay a flat $49 to list a lease. Buyers pay a flat $39 for a quote audit. That is the business. Neither fee depends on whether a transfer happens or what you decide after an audit.
Money we never take
- No dealer money. We do not accept referral fees, bird-dog fees, lead payments, advertising or any other compensation from dealers, brokers or BMW Financial Services. California law prohibits dealers from paying unlicensed referrers, and we don't want to be one anyway: an audit you pay for has to be on your side.
- No success fees, commissions or escrow. We don't take a cut of incentives and we never hold the money.
- No paid or incentivized reviews. Any testimonial on this site is unpaid and from a real customer, as the FTC's Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule requires.
Affiliate links
Our newsletter and some articles contain affiliate links to parts and tire retailers (for example Tire Rack, ECS Tuning, Turner Motorsport). If you buy through one of those links we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Each affiliate link is marked where it appears, not just here. We never link to a dealer or a lease product on an affiliate basis, and affiliate income never influences a listing, a verdict or a published rate.
Where the numbers come from
Money factors, residuals and MSD reductions are read by hand from public forum threads (Edmunds, Leasehackr) and entered monthly with their source. We don't scrape, and we store only the figures, not anyone's posts. Listing figures come from sellers; verify them against the contract before you sign.
